On Saturday the Lady Patriots played Glendale Prep “Griffins” in double header action. On the mound for the first game was senior Taylor Glass. She faced 17 batters during the contest- striking out 10, hitting 2, giving up 2 hits and one walk. The Lady Patriots scored 8 runs in the first on six hits, in the second 9 runs on four hits leaving one left on base, in the third two runs on two hits, and in the fourth 3 runs on 3 hits.
The #1 ranked Lady Patriots traveled to Phoenix College to take on the #3 AZ Charter Academy Bulldogs in the AZ Charter Athletics Association 2A Division State Championship game. The Patriots jumped out to a quick lead in the first inning and never looked back. They scored two runs in the first, two in the third, one in the fourth, and two each in the fitfth and sixth to walk away with a 9-1 victory over the Bulldogs.

Yesterday, the Lady Patriots traveled to Surprise to take on the Panthers of Paradise Honors. Even though it was a blazing hot day, the Patriots walked away with an easy three inning mercy rule win at 23-0.
