MALC Key Club made the news today! Our Key Club was recognized for having 50 members and over 1000 hours of community service this school year alone. The Patriots Varsity Baseball Team opened their season this past Saturday with a sweep of the Orme Spartans in a double header at their new home field at the community park. Junior Jay Norton threw a complete game with 5 strike outs, 1 hit by pitch, and he gave up 1 hit in the mercy rule shortened 4 inning game. Senior right fielder Tyler Wade, Sophomores Justyn Wright and Austen Emme, and 8th grader David Kloster fueled the Patriot offence in the 20-2 victory.
Today, the after school program flew kites that they put together and colored themselves. The wind was perfect to fly a kite.

The Lady Patriots high school basketball team traveled to Mayer, AZ last Friday to take on the Orme School Warriors in their second matchup of the season. The two teams previously met in MALC’s season opener at Young Scholars Academy on December 3, when the Patriots won by 4.
