The volleyball team traveled last Friday to Surprise to take on Imagine Academy in double header action. The Lady Patriots started off strong and took set one easily 25-10. However lack of communication in sets 2,3 and 4 was the deciding factor in Imagine stealing away the sets 26-24, 25-19, and 25-17. After a quick pep talk between matches the Lady Patriots were ready to go again and took set one 25-16 from Imagine. Again lack of communication hurt the Lady Patriots and they lost sets 2 and 3 25-21 and 25-22. The Patriots bounced back to take the 4th set 25-22 to send it into a 5th set decision, but came up short 15-9.
