The Mohave Accelerated Afterschool Program (MAAP) kicked off its enrichment program last Friday with over 35 students already enrolled. The primary focus of the afterschool program is to provide tutoring and homework help for students who need it. However, the enrichment program was setup for students who do not need academic assistance and provides fun, structured activities during the school week and on Friday mornings. The program enriches the students’ creative skills and fosters teamwork through group activities.
This past Friday, the students decorated t-shirts. Next Friday, they will be holding a car wash at Walmart.
