MAAP's First Gardening Day

In October, Jonathan Lobato and the students in the Mohave Accelerated Afterschool Program (MAAP) started the day making smoothies, then headed over to the greenhouse and garden area to work the dirt. Two garden areas were prepared for sowing. Once the hard work was done, the team returned to the Cyber Café for pizza. Soon the sowing will take place and you can be a part of this learning experience. Visit the MAAP program on Fridays from 9 AM to 1 p.m..
