History
In 2004, Mohave Accelerated Elementary School opened its doors to K-5 students. The school has continued to grow, and in 2009, a new campus was established using space provided by Spirit Life Church on Silver Creek Road near the Bullhead Parkway. MAES shares the mascot and school colors with our sister school, Mohave Accelerated Learning Center. We are the Patriots and our colors are red, white, and blue. In 2010, we were accredited by the North Central Association of AdvancED, the organization responsible for recognizing quality schools worldwide.
What We Offer
We have been labeled a Performing Plus school by the AZ Dept. of Education for the last three years. Our East Campus offers small classroom sizes and personalized instruction. We utilize "combo" classes for our academically accelerated students. These classes combine students from multiple grade levels and offer a distinctive learning environment tailored to each student. Our teachers are all certified, experienced, and highly qualified. We are a small school with a caring staff and a family atmosphere. Our teachers and administrators take a personal interest in all our students and the results speak for themselves.
